Anguilla’s Team Selected for the XX Commonwealth Games
We are pleased to announce that the team representing Anguilla at the XX Commonwealth Games to be held on the 23 July to the 3 August 2014 in Glasgow, Scotland, Great Britain has been chosen.
The Commonwealth Games is a sporting event that occurs every 4 years and can be held in any of the 70 commonwealth countries or territories in the world. This time around the city of Glasgow, in Scotland, Great Britain will be hosting the Games.
Representing Anguilla will be a total of 12 athletes, 7 athletic athletes; 4 males and 3 females and 5 cyclists.

The members of the cycling team are as follows:
Some of the team will be travelling from different parts of the world, but the members living in Anguilla will leave the island on the 20 July 2014 and return on the 5 August 2014 through Blowing Point.
Accompanying the team will be board members of the Anguilla Commonwealth Games Association; Kenn Banks – President, Cardigan Connor – Vice President, Althea Hodge – Secretary General and Rollins Richardson – Ex Officio. The Office Administrator, Carmen Gumbs, will also accompany the team. Team officials; Lorna Rogers, Wilma Proctor, Miguel Leveret and cycling coach Emmanuel Laud will also be attending the Games.
