Young Anguillian Receives Scholarship

The Anguilla Commonwealth Games Association, the Ministry of Sports and by extension the Government of Anguilla extends congratulations to Miss Rechelle Meade on her achievement of a full Athletic Scholarship.  Miss Meade will attend the University of Idaho in the USA beginning this Fall Semester.  Her hard work and persistence in both academics and athletics has certainly paid off and we are all very proud of her and wish her all the best in her pursuits.

Rechelle competed for Anguilla on many occasions but most notably in the long jump at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

We encourage all students to work hard and focus on what is important to them in life so that they too can also have similar achievements.
